was working ok yesturday, what went wrong? how do i fix

There is a wire that goes from your cd player to your motherboard. I would wiggle that and make sure it is tight. Another thing that happened to me is that I needed to flash my cd player with the latest update that you could download from the manufacturer's web site.

Try going to your Master Volume...check to make sure the CD/video in is balanced correctly and not on mute. I had the same problem, someone messed with my controls, but of course no one knew who.=).

Go to control panel and check sounds and audio for a checked mute box.If you have a speaker icon you can left click and right click and bring up the same stuff.
check the wires all so.
