He can use a car. Can't use a ring much.

It still shows he loves you ALLOT. A car is not a small gift. It is a huge gift. It's not something that the average family can go out and just "buy" for someone. It does show he cares and has a deep love for you. You don't know what he might have up his sleeve? That my dear could be next??? Time will tell. Just give it some more time and take this gift with appreciation and love and the engagement ring "will come" soon is my bet dear. OK.

OMG! if i was you i would be greatful for the car....really whats a ring all about anyway?? all you can do with a ring is either show it off or loose it and spend days freakin out cause you cant find it. With a car, it can take you places, cars are way more fun then a ring.

The car may look better on his credit report then a ring would. If he's really buying it for you, get what you want and have only your name on the registration. Or maybe the shoe can be put on the other foot so to say. Why don't you propose to him. Let a little of your on line persona into your real life. You may be surprised.

Men are sometimes clueless!You should make an excuse to go shopping with him in a jewelery store and ooh and aah over the rings you like.That should give him the hint.
