Depending on the sense of humor of your church go as a deviled egg. paint a yellow circle (or make one of cardboard) then wear horns and carry a pitch fork. You could also paint black spots or get fabric glue and felt and be a cow or dalmation. Just finish it off with face paint and a head band with horns/ears glued on. you could also be a bunny, skunk, basket of laundry... check out the second link for instructions.
