i lost my passowrd to my yahoo messenger how can i get it back or change it?

and also i have a mic so ic an talk back and forth, i have it conected and could hear on the other side but the other person cannot hear me. what am i doing wrong?

you click "forgot my password" to get it back or change it!! and you are doing nothing wron, it is the person at the other end that is doing something wrong.

Everyone is right on the money. When you log in right below the box where it asks you to type in your password theres a link (probably in blue) saying "Did you forget your password?"..If you don't see this then type something random in the password box and it'll ask you for sure.

Now, regarding your mic problem. I think maybe you haven't plugged it in correctly, or maybe you have your microphone volume muted/turned down? To see your mic volume just click on the volume button probably in ur taskbar (beside the time). Mmm other things could be that you haven't configured your microfone on messenger.. I'm not familiar with Yahoo! Messenger but you can always hit up their help section/FAQ because there is ALWAYS a question saying "My microphone isn't working yada yada yada". Hoope that helpsss:P

Its the same password you use to login to your yahoo mail and ID. Also you have to look at the back of your computer, and make sure the mic cord is plugged into the correct hole. There should be 3 to 6 holes to choose from back there but will usally be located next to the speaker hole.

When you try to log on it will ask "have you forgotten your password" or something like that. Click on that and they will ask your secret question and if you answer it correctly then they will send the password to your email address you have listed. When you get the password you can log on again and "edit Personal info." There you can change your password.
