If...
1 day = 24 hours
1 hours = 60 minutes
1 minute = 60 seconds then....
2.5 days X 24 hours/day = 60 hours
60 hours x 60 minutes/hour = 3,600 minutes
3,600 minutes x 60 minutes/hour = 216,000 seconds
OR
2.5 days x 24 hours x 60 minutes x 60 seconds = 216,000 sec.
