Will any network, TV or radio, feature Scully durring the 2006 playoffs or World Series? Also, during the Dodger's series against the Mets, I watched Fox, who used their own announcers, though at one point they cut to a shot of Vin in his booth, obviously announcing for someone, somewhere. Where was this heard? Lastly, is there a good archive on the web of Scully's most famous games or moments? Thanks!!!

Vin still does all of the Dodger games. I doubt he'll do any more games this year with the Dodgers out of it. He's 78? and has cut back on his workload a lot.

So you could hear him on Fox Sports West Prime Ticket when the Dodgers are playing. Rick Monday and some other yahoo do the radio broadcasts.

We've been blessed in LA with Vinny, Chick Hearn, Bob Miller (doing the Kings) and a long time ago, Dick Enberg. And nowadays, Keith Jackson will still do a west coast college game.

Chick Hearn started losing his edge the last several years of his life, but Vinny is still very solid.

Well, I don't know if tv or radio will feature Vin Scully during the 06 world series, & during the mets/dodgers series, Vin Scully was calling the game on the radio (1300am is the station I heard him) he called the first 3 innings then it was Charlie Steinner & Rick Monday for the next 3 & Vin Scully would call it again for the 7th & 8th , if Im not mistaken, then Charlie & Rick would end it . Im not sure if the playoff games were on Prime Network, if they were, then u would definitely hear Vin. Lastly, if u click on the link b'low, u can read all his awards & highlights of his career. Have fun!!!

Once the national 'casts start we are stuck with the donutheads Buck and McCarver. Scully might be doing radio or the int'l 'cast but when I was in Japan it was usually Gary Thorne and Rick Sutcliffe on that.

I don't mind guys like Lewin or Brennaman to be honest.

the Scully thing that is classic is chec out his "Forrest Gump" pbp. Terrible movie but he did a sort of pbp version for the visually impaired. It's so funny just to hear his dulcet tones on it...just the oddest thing ever.

If you subscribe to mlb radio for $15 a year, you can listen to any game's radio broadcast, including the dodgers.

Why would you want to listen to his boring monotone voice?
