No it doesn't. I don't feel I should have to hide my face. I think women who wear alot of makeup are doing that. However, there are many women who like wearing makeup because it enhances their features. I don't' like wearing makeup and it's not because I'm lazy or don't care about my appearance. I just don't see the need for me too. Just continue being you and it doesn't matter what people say. I think it's really shallow for people to call you lazy or uncaring about your appearance just because you choose not to wear makeup. I mean seriously there are more important things in the world.

I wear only eye liner and a small amount of blush. It is basic, easy to do and doesn't make my face feel clogged up with all that makeup. Especially the foundation, it makes my face feel horrible and the minute I get it on the only thing I can think about is how soon I can take it off, so I figure why bother.
It doesn't mean that you are lazy or uncaring about your appearance. You are only lazy or uncaring about your appearance if you do absolutely nothing to make your self presentable. Do you comb/brush your hair, wash your face, make sure your clothes are clean and neat, wear a modest amount of perfume, and take care of your skin with a cleansing routine to help prevent damage from the sun and environment? If you say yes to those then you are not lazy, just not conforming to what society expects of women and their makeup routine.

I hear ya because I'm the same way.
Not that I don't like it but it just requires so much of time and patience which I have neither, lol=P
I take long enough to get dolled up minus the make up already thank you very much!
And it's got nothing to do with me being lazy or "comfortable" with my natural beauty... I believe it has a lot to do with how one is raised.
I've a low maintenance Mom who didn't wear ANY makeup not to my knowledge anyway.
For those who do, my hats off to them because I can't imagine having to be coiffed from my head down to my toes in heels for a full day, it's exhausting

It really depends on my mood - and on how much time I have! It's very hard for me to get up in the morning, so I only have time for shower and quick breakfast. I can go without any make-up for a week or two :)
If I'm in the mood, and have extra time, or if it's a special occasion, I will use pressed powder, eye-liner, mascara, maybe eye shadow, and clear lip gloss (haven't found lipstick that would stay on my lips). But that doesn't happen TOO often.

I had to wear it all the time my whole childhood,[ I thought to hide stuff}. I'm 28 and I put it on 2 times in the last 2 months and I hate it. It makes my face smothered and fake so I never wear it. I went without in jail for 30 days and so I realized I can live without...L.

No makeup for me either. Too much effort, and when it comes time to be physically intimate, either it has to be removed or you don't get any attention on your face or your partner is grossed out by the taste/feel of it. Big waste of money that only goes to feed the media hype about what's beautiful and what's not, which leaves wonderful people ostracized because of how they look or don't look.

I don't wear make-up that often either, I think i look better without it and I pride myself on not spending 20 mins in front of the mirror
I do on dates or when i feel like putting in the effort
I always wear lip gloss though, but my whole theory is less is more

I feel the same way. I also don't wear it because I truly think I look and feel better without it. Make-up also makes it feel as if there's a burden on my face (don't rub your eyes, stay away from any situation that might make you cry, etc.). I can feel relaxed without it.

Sometimes I wear it and sometimes I don't. More often I DON'T wear it. I'm not trying to sound conceited at all but I feel that I look nice without makeup. When I do wear makeup it is only on my eyes and I wear lip gloss.

well im in the 7th grade and looking good is a priority in middle school. i used to wear mascara but then a few of my lashes started falling off, and its just a total frustration to even bother with it. so now all i do is apply a soft glitter eyeshadow (sometimes) and always put on eyeliner on my top lids making them arch outwards. (kinda like that asian style or w/e) but dont exagerate or u'll end up lookin like cleopatra!! this make-up technique is fairly simple, and only takes up about 5 minutes!!
