Chinatown for bargains & cheap designer knock-offs=P
KLCC, Bukit Bintang area for window shopping & "eye candy".
One Utama, MidValley Megamall for everything under one roof.
There're loads more in & around K.L. but I would advise you to stay away from Berjaya Times Square something about the way the design is --> claustrophobic.
But if you're heading there anyway, the ONLY stores worth checking out are the Debenhams department store and the IMAX Theatre.

If you're in the KL/Petaling Jaya/Subang Jaya area, then you should go and check out the malls like 1 Utama, Mid Valley Megamall and Sunway Pyramid... 1 Utama should be just fine...it's huge and you could actually get ost in there. It's really like a huge maze. KLCC, too, if you do not mind the traffic jams in the city. It could be a real headache, and the stuff there ain't cheap either!! Cheers!!!

i personally prefer jonker street rather than petaling street, but there's no dvd and vcd there.
shopping malls which are my favorite are mid valley megamall, if not klcc... i hate time square, it's like a pasar malam but just in an enclosed area..
