I think there are enough Republicans who are sick enough of the Bush administration that the scenario you are describing just isn't going to happen.

First of all, the Democrats will NOT lose. After 6 years of Republican incompetence, corruption, and extremism they're starting to lose Republican support!

But in the bizarre, cataclysmic event that the GOP actually holds on to power, after all they've done wrong, it could be attributed to the Dilemma of Democracy: that stupid people are allowed to vote, their vote counts equally, and there's so damn many of them. Republican propaganda always flatters the common man, but it is based on the belief that the common man is stupid. The Republicans act on this belief, spend a lot of money, and actually succeed in duping a lot of people. But fewer will fall for it this time around.

Where will you go when the evil Satanic Democrats control Congress? What country is conservative enouhg for the likes of you? Iran?

Matt, I am not a liberal or Democrat, but just because they lose in November, will not convince them they're wrong. I didn't believe I was wrong just because the Hill-Bill -ies were in the white house. How about you?

That depends on if you feel that voting accurately depicts "correctness." On a scientific level, you have way too many variables for this statement to have any merit. First of all, you'd have to be able to turn opinion into a truth. Secondly you'd have to make every single elligible person in America vote (which they sure as heck don't). Thirdly you'd have to have every single elligible voter educated about the facts in a non-partisan manner without any outside source of propaganda, be it left or right. You'd have to have them all educated to the same level. Even if you did that though, it's opinion. It's opinion. It's opinion.

Well, after they re count the votes and blame the voting machines and not democtatic-voting people's abilities to not follow directions...they will blame GW Bush for making N. Korea test fire a nuke to put the people into panic mode and re vote in the Republicans.

I do not know where you are getting your information, but the news tells a different story. The conservatives are in for a hell of a ride. Do not expect them to sail through this election unscathed.
