Because that is what a relationship is about. When someone asks my husband or me if he or I would like to do something we always answer "we" would or would not like to do it.

I becomes we because you are now doing things as a couple. The I will return when you two are more comfortable with doing things apart from each other. However, the we never goes away unless you two part company. Relationships are partnerships and that's how relationships start to work. We, over I.

people are very dependant on each other. Once they get into a relationship it becomes sort of balanced between one another.. depending on the relationship of course. with like young kids/teenagers it's just a dependancy thing, and with older, mature married people it's more of a "we share everything because we're married and stuff" thing.. i don't know how else to explain it, this probably doesn't make sense

a relationship involves two people-- most of the time. I becomes we when you and they make a commitment. Your needs fall into the background and their needs come first. they in turn puts your needs first and in a true relationship this is truely a great thing where you please them and in turn they please you first and the earth moves....true caring takes place and there is no greater tming.

I think you still have to keep your individuality even when you are in a relationship (even marriage). "WE" is great, but you have to be careful not to lose yourself in the process!
