My solution to everthing is e-bay or next internet stores. You can put it on ebay as a favorite search for Carter's Blankets and they will notify you daily by email when people list anything with that name. You might get lucky. Also have you tried contacting the company Carter's and explaining the blanket to them. If it's an older style but not too old they may be able to direct you to an outlet that might carry them or something. Also google carter's blankets and see what comes up. Last resort - find some similar fabric and pay someone to make one like it...

Give him a "New and Improved" blanket and tell him how it is more special than the last one.
Personally, however, you may be catering to him when you might not want to be. Consider that if you let him remain hooked on blankets, it will be all the more difficult to get him to stop taking it everywhere with him when he's older.
The same can be said for pacifiers. They are just as bad.
As painful as it might be to see him sad, perhaps you should take this chance to ween him off of the dependency on a blanket.

Try finding an outlet center that has a Carters store. Do you have a pic of it? If you do send me an email with it. I have an outlet near me that I'm going to next weekend. If I can find it, I'll get it and send it to you.

Oh the poor baby,he must be devastated. My boys both have teddy bears that they sleep with and have for comfort.
My only suggestion is you can never replace it even if you find an identical one because the smell will be different. What I suggest you do is take him shopping and let him pick out his own new teddy bear so he can have something to replace his blanky with. Good luck,I know how hard it is on you both.

i agree with the above post....take this as your opportunity to get rid of the blanket...my daughter didn't have one but she had a pacifier and the older they are the harder it is for them to rid the habit....i know its hard to see him sad but its best for you to just let it go.
