eg... 5'6" x 3'4" and not it's decimal format as 5.5 x 3.33..

Here's what I would do. Store the feet and inches in their own columns (say A and B). Then in C, put this formula: =CONCATENATE(A1,"'",B1, "''")

That will format 5' 6''. You can do the same for the X and the other side of the equation. Then, if you only want to see the result, you can hide the A and B columns and only see the 5'6.

Format ... Cells ... Choose Fractions... Choose sixteenths Which is probably the best for measuring.
