We had our jv finale tonight and we lost 14-12. We drove 85 yards with a minute left and we were on the goal line with 15 seconds left. Our qb dove into the endzone and was clearly in and one ref said td and the other said no. we lined up again to run one more play but they were discussing and let the clock run. we lined up for one more but they said wait till we are done. the clock ran out. It was a hard fought game and we all i especially played my heart out, I was so upset that we got screwed at the end of the game. Of course i feel bad but i feel horrible that i played my heart out and we almost won the game but we were screwed in the end. Is this normal.

yeah, you strived for something you really wanted and in the end you didn't get it. i'd be heartbroken as well. plus it was a really close game.

Quit your bellyaching. You didn't get screwed by the refs, you lost because your team only scored 12 points in the other 40+ minutes. No one play wins or loses a game.

Yes it's normal to feel the way you feel. You are passionate about the sport and anytime you lose, you are frustrated and feel bad. You shouldn't feel bad like you did something wrong 'tho. You played your best. It's not your fault the refs screwed the game up. But I guess if you want to be in the NFL one day, you should get used to refs screwing the outcome of games up. lol

You went out on that football field and gave it all you had, that's what matters. I'm sorry you and your team got screwed, but look at it like this, deep down inside, the other team knows you guys won and so does your team. You can't win them all, so stop blaming yourself. As a team, you take the good, with the bad and you don't point fingers.

You've got 2 choices:

1. Deal with it!

2. Walk on at the Oklahoma when you graduate from high school. They whine as much about officiating as you do.

Hey kid, you did all you could. You played your best and assuming you left it on the field you should be proud. By the way dont listen to nuke lefties and reality. They probably never played and are trying to make you feel bad.
Good luck kid

Quit your whining. Your team sucks and you probably didn't contribute a damn thing, you reject.
