If it makes you feel better, I'm pretty sure the book makes it clear that he will die eventually...he just lives a really long life.
Oh, and yeah, I did really like it, but the violence and hatred you see in some of the characters is really sad.

I guess that I am echoing other sentiments when I say that I loved it but it was sad. It was a break-out movie for Michael Clarke Duncan and Tom Hanks did an incredible job, too.

I luv Green Mile, It was a sad movies because he was charged for something that he didn't do, but he served his time any way. He was a healer n a a forgiver, i loved it

I loved the movie, it was indeed a tear jerker! The actors really out done themselves in portraying the characters in this movie; you could really feel their agony and sorrow!
