I didn't discover this myself but not many have heard of it.
Next time you burn yourself, put honey on it. It will take the burn away immeidiately. You may need to reapply it every hour or so but it's worth it. I also suggest covering the honey is saran wrap because the honey can be a mess.

You may want to try this..How to remove greasy pan. After frying, pour in water and dishwashing liquid and add a little white vinegar. Boil the content over the fire. YOu will see that all the grease and particles will start to float. Once its at the boiling point, off the fire and pour the liquid away. Wa La..the pan is sparkling clean again for the next round of frying...

Inject food coloring into the bottom of your toothpaste tube. Then when the toothpaste starts to come out colored, you'll know it's time to buy a new tube.
Buy a wooden chest or storage cabinet, and place your oven on top of it. The added height will prevent children from being able to burn themselves on the hot stovetop. You can also use the cabinet to store your oven cleaner, bleach, Raid, and so on.

I grease my pans withthe fold top sandwhich bags over my hand. when all finished, I simply turn the baggies inside out and dispose. (This is easier to do witha baggie than a glove, and the baggies are cheaper and usally in the kitchen anyway)

Put leftovers in reclosable bags instead of bowls. Takes much less fridge space and you can open the bag and throw it right into the microwave if you want to heat it up.
