I know for a fact they work. My detached garage was home to mice and bats. After cleaning and pressure washing their " evidence", I plugged a couple in on each wall. 99% improvement for the last few months. The more open the space, the better they work. They should be in each room as the waves don't travel well through doors and corners. I also have 2 in the attic on each end of the house.

I tried a mouse wall unit, but it didn't seem to work. I use a no-kill trap that I bought at a home center. It's a "small box" that I put cat food in.

I tried them, but they didn't seem to do anything. Problem is that in order to be effective, you need to have several in order to cover every area of your home. And if there are areas that are closed such as inside cabinets, the doors need to be left open. Rat poison is far more effective.

i tried everything from ultra-sonic emitters, live traps, kill traps, sticky paper, then i spent $3.50 on a little pack of dcon mouse poison, a small wedge shaped carton full of blue pellets. they were completely gone two days later.
