yes, blood has an odor even if it were to be just a blood sample you could still smell the blood! it has a distinguished smell not long after you have some drawn. the smell can be a faint one yet it still is an odor after all and at first you can barely if not not smell the smell of blood at all.

Yes blood does have an odor. I am not sure if you could smell the odor from a blood sample, but I have smelled it when I assisted in surgeries especially when they were cauterizing blood vessels to stop bleeding.

Yes blood does have an odor after a short period of time it leaves the body. and it has an odor even if its fresh.

Yes. It is a lot easier to smell in larger amounts though. It has a metalic smell, almost like copper.

yes, it smells like metal. The iron and proteins will give it a distinct smell.
