No people make too big a deal out of that one. The Fourth Amendment is the most imporant because it protects us from unreasonable searches and seizures. And with terrorism and other issues in today's world, I'm glad we have that one.

The most important amendment is the Second Amendment. It identifies the means to overthrow a tyrannical government. That's why some politicians want to do away with gun rights. It will be easier to then take the others.

Since I don't want the police barging into my home day or night without probable cause, or the government seizing my property without due process, I'd have to say the 4th Amendment is the most important amendment.
But we can all have our favorites, right?

Yes. Freedom of speech, assembly (protest), and especially freedom of religion. Freedom of religion is why many of the settlers came here to begin with.
