I did when I was growing up with an abusive father. I often wished that I had had other parents, but it wasn't any one person in particular.

My grandfather Ballew.he was a mighty man 6 ft 4 .a kind christian man, founded a church.at the time of the great depression . he had some land and instead of selling his extra crops and he had seven children, he would load it onto his truck and put it in baskets and go to the mill village and give it all way I loved him so. to the christmas he died, for fifty years there were all ways a good bit of anonimous .useually hand made gifts laid at his and ma ma Ballews front door.I kinder more generous godly person I have ever met. I miss him greatly.and in a way yes I wish he had been my father, my father was not around much. but i loved my father.

No, but I admired someone so much that I wished they were my love. I fell in love with them. They hurt me for no reason. I never did anything to them. Not even ever went with them. I just loved them from a distance. Admiration is a wonderful thing. Too bad someone didn't feel it for me for my honesty, faithfulness, and true love always and forever........

I would never wish that i spend every day wishing i had my mother here with me she never got to see me grow up, didnt get to watch me graduate. So i could never wish for that.
But my granny taught me things about a mothers love that i have passed down to my kids

I did but it was more to do with the fact my parents were cold and very uncool and everyone Else's parents seemed young cool and trendy

No, I wouldn't admire them anymore if they were my parent.

yes, sometimes.. I feel sorry about it.. but when I see families that are happy even the parents are old..I wish they are my parents too...
