Nortel or no Nortel?

should i keep my money in nortel and hope that it goes up in the long term with its new deal with Microsoft or should i drop it and buy something else like bombardier or paladin?

MSFT (aka "M$") won't go anywhere anytime soon in terms of stock price. Like Nortel, their products have become commodities, with precious little in terms of innovation to separate it from any number of competitors. Unless you see some massive breakthru where Nortel and M$ combine to bring the next "big thing", or can produce their products at a price advantage, don't look for anything big to happen.
