Hope you can get your head of of the clouds long enough for bluntness.

You are being used by a married woman to bridge the gap between her present husband "who just doesn't understand her" and her next one, who will be the last ones identical twin. If this was a man, would you put up with this?

Move on with your life, you've wasted enough time.

You'll never know unless you press the question, but whatever the answer I don't see any option except to accept it, and go on your way, seperately (so you don't torment yourself), or as just friends (which is no small thing), or together. If she's been seperated for years, and known other fellows she should surely know her own mind by now, ready to take responsibility for her life and relationships. There are times in life when a certain amount of ruthlessness is vital, however much it may hurt. Been there.

After being in a real relationship; my advice is all about being included in every aspect. Come correct or don't come at all. Sorry but it sounds like you are a fall back; or security blanket when times get rough. It also appears that you are a very caring person. It would be heaven; to find your match. Then and only then would you have complete love, respect, loyalty, honor and open conversation on so many levels of intimacy. Don't sell yourself short; or you will regret it for life.

Girlfriend, be her friend. Most of all, be your own friend. She won't/can't commit to you, not now, maybe never. Be her friend, and be your own best friend.
