Slump? I was supposed to have a slump? We ran through the house naked and had a great time....for the first time in years. We vacationed. We celebrated. I think it has to do with the way you view the event of their leaving. You are a person within yourself...they don't define you...you're world shouldn't begin and end with them.

I just got a puppy, it's almost like a kid. I thnk that was the wrong thing to do!!! I found I do not have half the patients I had years ago. My youngest is 17 and my heart is breaking! I've been on nerve pills for years, but still its an everyday battle. I have started the bleeding thing on & off, I haven't been to the doc. mY mother, grandmother, great grandmother didn't go get on hormones, I refuse to do it. I just hope everyone can stand me, cause somtimes I can't stand my self!!!!!!
I constantly have to remind myself I have been blessed and to stop whining and feeling sorry for myself! I just turned 45 a couple weeks ago, my husband is 51, we have looked forward to no kids for years so we could be free to do what we wanted but, I change my mind I want it all back !!!!!!!

Find something to take their mind off getting old. Take up a hobby or find a young lover and use a good lubricant. Wear lovely lingerie and nice perfume.
