Yes roaches will come in if the weather gets too cold or too
wet. They will also move in when your neighbors move out.
Keeping a clean house is no guarantee, roaches will still go
out (or next door) for food. Eliminate any water sources, and
use a brand-name gel product in places like baseboards,
under the sink, back corners of kitchen cabinets, and draw-
ers. Roaches eat each other's feces to find a mate. Most
gel products contain chemicals that will continue to kill them
by taking advantage of this fact, and can eventually clean
out an entire building.

Critters move in when it is cold outside. The look for crumbs of food on the floor. They like the dark; lights out. Buy roach motel traps from any drug store.

Buy a gallon bottle of Ortho Max for about $12- 15 at the Home Depot. It has a small tube and sprayer. You spray like a professional. It's great stuff and good to have around.

has anyone recently moved into your apartment complex? if so I would think that might be why....but if not it is possible that another tenant bug bombed and the roaches from there moved to your house.
good luck.

Sprays and bombs just attract them more, you can have them attatch themselves to a grocery bag best bet is: "Boric Acid" it's sold in pharmacies and when lined in all corners of house and cupboards (Away from food and dishes, kids and pets) they will feed from it carry to their group and die off.

Boric acid , it is very effective when used properly for killing
cockroaches and most other insects.
You can also get a house lizard, they are natural enemies and will eat them. More information at http://tinyurl.com/ofxkk
