How do professional hockey players avoid blisters on their feet? I've been ice skating for 10 years +, and I get blisters everytime I skate. I even bought an expensive skate which it has super cushion, and it didn't help.

I got blisters at first, but I don't get them any more. Try this though, It may help. Always lace up as tight as you can, and make sure your skates aren't to big for your feet. It may hurt to lace em up real tight, but your feet will get used to it. If you already do that, then I don't know what will help you. Good Luck.

It really depends on how much you skate. I have been playing ice hockey for over 20 years now. What happens is that the blister eventually turns into a callus and then it is not painful anymore. I am sure the majority of the pros have some kind of callus on their feet. I would be extra careful making your skates too tight especially towards the ankle. Always make sure the top part of your foot is pressed in so be aggressive when tightening from the toe up. Most inexperienced skaters tighten their skates just at the ankle.

They used to skating since they're skating all the time. Also they've got good skates.

Make sure you wear high enough socks and maybe a second pair.Tie them tight enough but not too tight or it could hurt even more.
