I'm glad you asked. But I see some answeres saying x-mas and easter, originated from pagan holidays. They forget to mention that they are now celebrated as Christian holidays and have denounced the pagan ways.
I sure would like to see a section on here for the solstices, wouldn't you? It just seems right. And of course the countless many others, but I guess that would take up too much space...

It's a numbers game, still. Paganism's still not big enough to be taken seriously - heck, Buddhists and Hindus don't even get their own holidays listed, so we're not going to see anything for quite a while.

No pagan holidays? What about Christmas, Easter and Halloween? They are all pagan in origin. If you don't believe it, look at any reliable encyclopedia and do a little research. Better still, see if your clergyman will admit it to you.

I always assume that that section is referring to going abroad, maybe I got it wrong. If it means religious holidays, then all should be included.

Because people STILL don't think about them as being important.I mean,in a way, they are included since they are the basis for all the Christian holidays.

Thanks for bringing that up, I was wondering also. They have events like Kwanzaa and Yom Kipur, but not our holidays.

Maybe they don't think it is important, but they might learn with time, when we get more and more and keep this question (demand) alive!?
