all have an even number of legs...
Mammals have 2 or 4
Birds have 2
Fish have none
Reptiles have 4
Amphibians have 4
Insects have 6
arachnids have 8... they all have a variant of 2

However, animals that have what are called feet (slug or snails) or arms ( starfish) can have an odd number... but legs are always a variant of 2
