No it's not wrong, it's only natural . It is safe and very pleasurable , it can be better than having sex . I do it to releive stress and tention . Don't be embarrassed by asking , better to ask , then never finding out the truth about something . There are all kinds of toys you can get to help , you can discretely buy them online , in case you would be embarrassed to go to one of those kind of stores ......Good-Luck and Hugs from Texas

Safe, enjoyable and in my opinion it's better than sleeping around. I don't think it's wrong, and heck, woman, sometimes it's a great stress relief. I'm 28 as well, and HAVE a man who pleases me very much ... and I STILL do it just for GP. And trust me - you're far from the only woman who does it. Nothing to be ashamed of, you know what you like, right? I could give you the top ten reasons to be your own lover, but I've already dangnear written a novel here as it is.

Life S,
It's totally fine to masturbate, actually its sciencetifically proven that you need to masturbate. Life S, I masturbate all the time, atleast once a week minimum. Unless your religion condemns the enjoyment of masturbation, then it's an issue to bring up with your religion, but sciencetifically, masturbation is a requirement to live.
I have I'm 21 and I masturbate too, so no worries. In fact, most guys like girls that masturbate because it makes them feel comfortable too. So you're doing yourself more good than you think. Hope this helps.

It always shocks me to hear of people that don't know that is really healthy and perfectly fine to masturbate. Seriously, everyone I know does it, I've done it since a very young age, and everything I've ever read in my pre-med classes and so forth say that it is perfectly normal and good to do. 90-something% of the population does it (and the rest lie about it, haha)... or maybe the rest just have problems, like are crippled or have severe depressing or something, but yes, it is normal and good to do. It can be very relaxing as well and help to reduce stress.
Keep it up and don't be ashamed or embarrassed!

It's natural and normal. Even though most won't admit it, everyone has done it. As well as the pleasure you receive from it you are also learning about your own body. What you like or dislike, etc. which in turn is knowledge that you can pass on to your partner making your sexual relationship much better for the both of you.

It's normal human behavior, especially if you are not in a relationship with anyone. (However, I've been married 19+ years and I STILL masturbate - in fact, it seems the more I pleasure myself, the more I want to have sex with my husband as well....go figure...)
Shoot, we talked about this at a women's Bible study when I was 20 years old.....a couple of people thought it was wrong, but most people thought it was important to explore/get to know their bodies (especially since most of them were virgins when they got married - how ELSE are you going to know how your body reacts/what you like to have done to receive pleasure?). I figure, there is no other biological reason for women to have a clitoris other than the ability to reach orgasm.....just my opinion....!
p.s. Why are so many women afraid of their sexuality?

I think it's the best way to figure out the way you 'tick' sexually. Usually it's religious attitudes that make us feel guilty for it, but God created our bodies, including the many ways we experience pleasure.
Have at it. Figure out what works for you. It will enrich your sexual experiences with others.
