Ok here is the story, I was in a relationship with a guy for 2months in the beganing of the relationship I had an accident involving his car and his house. This was only after he asked me to move his car out of the drive way, and I ran into his house. This was truly an mistake (I found out later that it was not his car) He took the blame for the accident and never brought it up again(he never asked me to pay a dime) Ok our relationship has come to an end only after 2 months! Just today he is talking about sending me an invoice for the house.(the house is being fixed now) Does he have a case? (there was no police report, there was no signing of anything, there was no agreement on anything. ) He is mad that this relationship is over. What should I do please help!

He doesn't have a case. His insurance should fix the house, but if he doesn't have insurance that's stupidity on his part. He took the blame on himself and has to live with that now. Let him send you an invoice, return it unopened, and if he really wants to go through with it he'll pay out of his a88 for an attorney, and with no proof who was driving or who was at fault he'll only be wasting money. Don't admit to anything to anybody.

No, he probably doesn't have a case, if he has no witnesses to prove that you did it. However, that doesn't mean you should walk away and not repay him for the damage you caused.

OK, it was an accident and not your fault. But it wasn't his fault either, so why should he have to pay for it all? Stop being a selfish cow, and pay your share.

I don't think he has much of a legal case, but would you consider offering to pay half, because you causd the damage? In any event, he should have homeowner's insurance and auto insurance to cover the damages.

No police report, no signing of promisory notes, you are okay, and plus he already told someone that he did, so basically its going to be your word against his, I believe a good lawyer will eat this case up
