Wow. I'm gonna leave this open with the following additions. Guess I should have said that I'm a) not religious; b) not uptight; c) not insecure; and d) not asking anyone if they think it's OK.

I'm not stupid enough to do this without being more than cool with it. I actually just wanted to hear from other ladies in long term relationships how they made this situation fun and memorable. (Though I appreciate the guys point of view, too!)

I have no intention of being in the room; we're having a big party and my friends will be there, too. The POINT is to give him fodder for fantasy and shock the h*ll out of him. I'll be happy to reap all the rewards of this later.

I'm not a lady but i can give you a guys point of view.
Be okay with it,and i mean really okay, not just pretending. If your not don't do it.
Don't get mad,he knows your right there,so he will be on his best behavior.Don't give him dirty looks and get pissed off. That will only ruin the party, and embarrass him in front of his friends.
Go in with an open mind, and remember he is with you,so you don't have to worry.
And if you really want to impress him,be one of the guys. This will show you are mature and confident within.

The biggest advice i can give you is,HAVE FUN!!!It's a party for the one you love.
Good luck, and tell your boyfriend i said happy b-day

It is kind of inappropriate in the first place really. But, that being said, just don't be jealous. You are the one getting him the stripper, if it weren't for your (poor judgment) decision to do that, he probably would not have sought out a stripper in the first place so don't blame him or make him suffer for what you decided to do. You are going to have to just sit back and deal with it or not be in the room. I'd suggest just having fun, laughing, and relaxing. He is married to you, he didn't go and get the stripper, you did, and if you are cool about it (meaning DON'T bring it up, DON'T compare yourself to her, DON'T ask if he really liked it and was turned on and all of those insecure things you might think) he will probably really appreciate it (or feel awkward) and be glad that you are fun and cool.

I think this is a horrible idea. There is nothing graceful about strippers, especially for married adults.

You should be the stripper for his eyes only.

You want a graceful way to pay a woman money to take her clothes off, put her thonged butt-crack in his face and shake her T&A in front of your husband while all his friends cheer him on? UGH. How cheesy. Sorry I can't help.

If you don't think you can get through it with grace and good humor now, then don't do it.

If you aren't comfortable with it now, you won't be when this naked woman is rubbing her body all over your husband and simulating sex in front of you later.
