WD-40 or acetone, but be sure you rinse with a clean rag after you remove the ink and before you run the dryer again

If the Dryer Tub is Metal try using Hair spray and then wipe (while the spray is still wet) with a paper towel. In the old days they use a ink that was like Pen ink and to remove it from food can tops the would use Hair spray. Make sure the dryer is not on and or hot. Good luck and let me know if it works.

I assume it has been cooked on, so you are going to have to cook it off.I would use a cotton rag with a small amount of cleaning solution . Shut down machine's electricty and gas line. I Get a light duty propane tourch fire it up, and adjust the flame to yellow, or orange. Of course you need adaquate ventilation. Then just heat the pen marks until they are gone, or almost liquid, then just wipe the stains right off with your rag. It will be no No problem, the stains will wipe off easily. When all is cool plug her back in and turn the gas bak on, you are finished.

Have you tried the Magic Eraser? I'm amazed by that thing, it seems to clean all lost causes.
I get the store brand, it's cheaper and works great!
