My father has asked for cologne for a gift. What would you recommend for a baby boomer age businessman? It should be something appropriate for his age, but that is still stylish and doesn't seem like it is for old men. Oh... and it can't be terribly expensive.

My absolute favorite is Ralph Lauren Polo Blue. I am highly allergic to most colognes. I am allergic to Ralph Lauren Polo Sport, and Ralph Lauren Polo Green. They have a new scent out called Ralph Lauren Polo Black but I've never smelled it so I'm not sure whether I'm allergic to it or not.
But again my favorite is Ralphy Lauren Polo Blue. A bottle of it costs about $38 at Wal Mart. Hopefully this isn't more than you want to spend.

check out the different selections of ralph lauren and chanel cologne. there is the chanel homme cologne which is pretty decent and the ralph lauren has the black label and a few others.
ezra fitch (from abercrombie) is also nice except its a little strong, you dad might prefer the other choices.

I like Calvin Klein's Eternity...it's not expensive at all and it would smell great on a man of that age! Good luck!
