School is auditory dominant (traditionally), so those folks may have an easier time. But that is unrelated to intelligence.
Remember, though, no one learns exclusively in one area; we are all hybrids, though we may have methods we prefer. And in particular, all of us learn when taught through multiple modalities.

No.. it just means they are able to process and understand auditory information better than kinesthetic and visual learners.
That's all it means, it doesn't mean one group is generally smarter than another. Auditory and visual learners tend to do better in school because of how schools are usually set up... you see and hear information.

this is a bad point to bring up, it flys in the face of the majority. and the majority rules, so learn to see that the years that they pay their dues to the bureaucracy, is lighting their fires that you haven't it show and they win by a knock out, so you want know who is smarter, does fear motivate? there are all the wrong reason to arrive at all the right answers and you just play along and be nice, yea! that's what they always say be nice

Follow-on to other answers...it is certainly possible that our education system favors one type over another, or even that a certain type will do better with certain instructors, if for no other reason that they might speak the same.
