Even a site with just the basics would be great!

Online lessons have their place but nothing can replace a real live teacher. A person next to you can be very helpful in stopping what could become permanent bad habits, poor fingering, etc.

There's no such thing as free lunch man!!! Get a real teacher. It is more costly, but it's such a great learning experience. STick with it for at least a year and a half before deciding to quit. No pain No GAin!!! GOd Bless!
