if you like going to car races and you like the action and all that comes with it,like the men the cars, the noise, and all the people.
go for it!sit where every you want but i'd try to get the best seat
that i would think is the best, maybe the one that is the right near it all.like the front.no matter where you park you'll have time to seat and warm the car up,because of all the others trying to take off at the sametime.or park upclose to the place and leave a little
earlier or stay and try to meet some of the drivers and others that you want to meet and try to get some pictures, you do it one of
these ways you shouldn't have any problem when it time for you to get out of there.you should drink what you feel is right for you
but if you don't want to spend time in the restroom i wouldn't drink to much,i'd rather see the race, and be good to try to get to meet the car race men,and not have them think boy has she had alot to drink, hope she's not driving.some think if you have to much to drink they might not even let you by to go to the pit area
or anyother place the raceers may be..so,just be cool with yourself and still have a good time.you might want to get to the
race track a little while earlier, then your suppose, maybe you
could look around before the race starts and maybe you can meet some of the people around the pit areas and the work place itself and just maybe you want have to seat where everyone else has too.and then you can maybe party with the
drivers and they're people..anyway you want to go,and do this,is
all up to you,so have fun ,good luck!

that has to be one of dumbest question that i have heard damn right you should any time that you get a chance to go a race GO;;watching it on tv is one thing but once you see up close and personal you are truely hooked for life if you want to meet your favorite driver get you a pit pass or get a 3 day ticket and go on friday when they are quaifying thats the best time cause the drivers are all over the pit area or get suite tickets which cost a lot of money the take you back to area where the driver are and 9 times out 10 you will run into your driver and a lot of the driver that are out the race will walk through the suites along with the car owners and there familys you would be amaze at the autograpghs that i got when i got suite tickets from owner drivers and there familys dont get to drunk that you make a fool out of yourself but have a nice time you will not believe how down to earth they are i was truely shocked that was the best time i ever had in my life and so will you as far as parking good luck get there as early as you can as far your sit turn 4 or turn 1 start finish line but any where you sit you are going to have fun nascar fan are like no other believe that have fun

Go! I never liked racing until I got free tickets to the spring race in Talladega. My brother is the engine tuner for one of the teams so he got me passes to sit in the pits with the team and I had a blast. I am going to be at Atlanta in the pits again. I can't wait! As to your questions...it depends on what you can afford and what you want to do. Leave in plenty of time as obviously traffic will be bad but there's no right strategy of where to park, etc as it will be crowded everywhere. To meet drivers you need garage/pit passes to get to the inside of the track where everyone is. Nascar has a reputation of being a redneck sport but that is very false. There's just as many redenecks watching football or any other sport as there is in racing. And there's definitely more to racing then driving in circles. Only the simple minded think that as there is so much that goes in to each race and so much happens during each race beyond watching the cars go around the track. Good luck and have a blast!

Yes you should diffently go! You will have a blast sittin anywhere, try to stay away from the track though, your eyes will burn.

I know people that don't even like NASCAR but love the race when they went.
You probably wont actually watch the cars the whole race. You'll probably be partying and getting drunk and making new friends.

IT WAS SOOO MUCH FUN!

If you can afford it?, races aren't cheap anymore.

1) Where ever you can, depends on what you like? I like to sit up high to see more of the whole track (rent a scanner and headset, worth the price, to hear all the teams radio chatter and nascar officials, tv and radio feeds, etc.)
2) Take a shuttle bus, avoid the post race gridlock and parking hassles.
3) Early as you can.
4) Go to team websites to see what their appearance schedules are, be prepared to stand in line for hours, with all the other chumps who hound the drivers for their autographs (what's the point?)
5) As many as you want.

Only if your intelligence is below 80 as yours appears to be for asking this question.
If you do go I suggest you sit somewhere in the middle of the track, so you can meet your favorite driver up close and personal.
No alcohol should be consumed people are driving here.
Parking should be as far away as possible these event cause way to much traffic congestion, do your part to make the world a better place and walk don't drive.
It doesn't matter what time you arrive the event will start on time even if you show up 2 hrs late.

I think you should. Going to a race in person is awesome! I went to the Pocono 500 this past June. Some advice if you go: BRING EAR PLUGS!!!!!!!! The cars are REALLY loud! He's the web site, there should be info on it:

yes you should go, its awesome to be there with all the crowd and the noise. sit as close to the start-finish line up high, or go to the infield if they have one. if your driving in, leave early, you will be stuck in slow traffic going in, they will guide you as to where you park..when your leaving be prep-aired to wait, the lines are slow as hell getting out. even up to 5 hours stuck in traffic. there a lot of drunks. watch out for them too.
go to the souvenir trailers to meet your drivers. alot of the time, they are there signing autographs on what you have purchased. as far as alcohol goes. i wouldnt drink too much, if you drink at all, be sure and have snacks on hand....have lots of fun
