how do I by pass a clutch safety switch on a 98 s-10?

the reason I want to pass it is because it's malfunctioning not cause I'm lazy I would love to press the clutch to get my truck to start instead of messing with the wires under the dash and have people look at me like I'm stealing my own car

The clutch "safety" or start switch is just that, a safety switch. You should replace the switch if it's bad and not try to wire around it. It's a fairly easy job for a DIYer.

YOU DON'T!!! YOU FIX IT FOR OBVIOUS REASONS!!! Never mess with the safety stuff on your vehicle. If you have an accident and an investigator finds it, your insurance may not cover you even if it is not related to the accident. Their point is, what else did you jimmy up to keep it on the road?
