A cure for Aids?

Question

I know it sounds cruel, but it worked with lepers and those with bubonic plague. What does everyone think about the idea of people with AIDS living separate from society and amongst themselves, say on a far off Island somewhere. They could have anything they wanted, as research funds could be diverted to giving them a comfortable rest of thier lives. What are the pros and cons of this? It would be alienate alot of people, but it would end the disease that has killed and will kill many, many more.

Im not for or against this by the way...just looking for opinion

How rude you know they say bleach can kill the virus, and lemon juice is proving to be a cure for some viruses. So may be if scientists could find what is the main ingredient they could produce a powerfull cure. Just remember aids is a virus and if you don't want to catch it then don't be foolish and have unprotected sex or think before you go to help someone that is injured and bleeding. Don't not help but be aware and use protection, such as gloves ect. The world does'nt need such a negative response for these medical problems we need to be positive and hope that a cure will be found soon. Give people that have the disease respect and respect you will recieve in return. We are all human I don't know any one personally that has this disease. But I do know of hundreds that have had other diseases that can be killers to some such as menigicocal, measles, chicken pox, ect ect what do you propose we isolate these people too.

when u have quarantined patients with plague,leprosy etc u have aids now and whats next if u start to quarantine the aids patients.or do u have a separate island for all the guys with diseases of different kinds. in that case there will be different geographical locations (continents)basing on the disease u carry.sounds novel!

simplest way for aids is safe sex and only that helps! dont think too much.

And how do you figure that?

AIDS in not solely transmitted by contact. It can be airborne. And it did not work with the plague or leprecy, either, both still exist.

If you want to end AIDS figure out what causes it and how to kill that, and I don't mean, sharing needles or having casual sex, I mean biologically what causes the disease to form in human beings and or animals.

If it were as easy to control as you stated it would have burned itself out already.

That is a very ignorant statement. I had a dear friend of mine that contracted AIDS while being a nurse thru a needle stick as long as everyone uses precautions, people that are suffering from this disease, do not need to be seperated. If you ever saw someone you love die from this long and horrible death you would surely change your tune

An idea... that did NOT work with lepers! nor Bubonique plaque. to start with. It contained the spreading, I'll give you that but it did not eradicate the disease. research, trial and scientific progress helped. not isolation.
it is one way to deal with opur own fear, I'll give you that as well.

you know if my uncle was still alive he would b*tch slap you so hard it would not even be funny. well not to you atleast. the problem with your "idea" is the fact that you want to seperate familys all because people have aids. and to get your facts straight we came in contact with the aids viris ebcause of monkey's thank you. why punish a innocent person because they have a disease that you feel uncomfortable about? you are a real *** hole you know that. if i could reach through this screen i would smack you myself.
