I have a civil relationship with my daughter's biological mother. She is an evil, abusive she-demon, but for my daughter's sake, I work at being civil. My husband has no contact at all with his ex-wife, and we had custody of my (step) daughter when she was underage, and she calls me "Mom" and her bio mom by her first name, so I work at keeping it civil and not let her draw me out.
