NO, the media has done that. Our friends are still our friends.

No, I do not agree.

An enemy that can pull off what the Islamic terrorists did on 9/11 is pretty damn "united" already. That single act took lots of financing, intricate planning, constant communication and a common goal with a hierarchy of leadership - over a long period of time.

The division among American people was present only after the talking turned to action - the pacifists and their 'peace at any cost' mentality and all of their Hollywood buddies just can't fathom that maybe, just maybe, a person who packs his vest with explosives and lethal shrapnel before heading out to a crowded mall or religious ceremony is not going to respond too well to diplomacy, negotiations, appeasement or reason. These radicals are butchers and murderers - they will cut your head off just to make another video - plain and simple. They have made their demand very clear: You convert to Islam......or you die.

They are not going to just go away if we ignore them and there isn't a realistic prayer in hell that we can all come home and prevent further attacks on U.S. soil. Their ideology and tactics must be destroyed. It's not an easy task - but it would be a lot easier if we could present them with a united effort!

Our enemies have always been there, during the 90's they were blowing up plenty. Just the media ignored it, and still till this day try to say it never happened.

The US is divided not because of the President, but because of socialists that can not accept that the American people do not want their version of the world.

Simply put - yes. If you don't think he hasn't divided this country......just read the posts on this board. The world hates us ( all but a few). We have very few friends left and before long travel will not be safe for us any place.

No. The people outside of America who hate us have always hated us. And the division of American citizens was done by ALL government. Thanks to this retarded two-party system, we have people who actually believe one party is that much better than the other and let themselves be pawns to people with power and will fight tooth and nail to keep them in power and only get their table scraps. President Bush may be a part of this problem, but he's not the sole reason. And judging by this question, it sounds like you're part of the problem too.

Very true and fact. Other countries have a problem with us because we went into Iraq on several lies, and because of the name-calling by small-minded neo-cons on TV (limburger, coulter, hannity, o'reilly, etc.), it has become a divided nation.

People that hate you because you're an American or Jew or a Christian and want to behead you were that way before Bush and they'll be that way long after Bush.

Totally. One might argue he has moved us that much closer to a police state in the process. Can't think of anything he has done that I support.

A concise and somewhat simplistic argument, though perhaps not entirely wrong.
