i am only refereing to Israel, having nuclear weapons, and a bad human rights record. though feel free to bring up Israel flattening lebanon and killing over a 1000 civilians over 2 captured soldiers as some sort of justification for them having nukes.

Israel did not exist 200 years ago.

You ask where are the sanctions against Israel? I answer, they are up your TUCHUS!

That said, the Israelites, Hebrews, Jews, et al where in the Holy land much before 200 years ago....The origins of the Jewish people as a people are in the land called Israel. The historical, cultural and religious roots of Jews are as the "children of Israel" who lived in the Land of Israel (the word "Jew" comes from the word "Judea:" the largest of the tribes of Israel in Biblical times). Everything that is at the core of the early history of the Jews is linked to Israel. The Bible and its early heroes (patriarchs and matriarchs, Moses, David and Solomon) are rooted in the Land of Israel. The great prophetic ideas such as justice, equality and peace, which have shaped world history, were formulated in the Land of Israel. The roots of the Jews as a historical people are in the soil of Israel and our culture teaches us of the yearning to return to that land when we were exiled from it.

HUMAN RIGHTS: "People in glass houses should not throw stones" and as cliched as that may be, the USA has a terrible Human rights record, right now.... No detail required...who will sanction US? Oh BUSH ALREADY took care of sanctioning his own , just have to look at all the US JOBS abroad - tantamount to sanctions.LOL

They have a terrible human rights record? I don't believe there were any sanctions since Israel was the one that was attacked.
