Yeah, hit 40 and feel great! I have to work a little harder to stay pliable and not make crunchy sounds when I get out of bed in the morning! Us hippies are still out here trying to keep One Love alive, but I think we've had to get practical at the same time. Keep the faith and Keep on Truckin' !!!

IMO, it's one of those things that nobody tells you when you're young:

THE BODY GETS OLD BUT THE MIND NEVER DOES.

I bet I still feel 18 inside when I'm 90, if I live that long. And I think most people feel that way, really. Some people just let the deterioration on the outside, get them down.

Make the most of your 40's, you still have the energy to go with that young feeling. Once you get to your 50's, you will start to slow down - sorry to tell you! But you'll still feel 20 inside.

At age 57, I feel more energetic than I did when I was 20. Life is so full of possibility that I don't want to waste a minute of it or miss anything.

What? Your as old as you feel, nonetheless time takes its toll, your not as fast, quick or well toned at 40 as at 20. Your energy level drops. Upside, all that childlish immature nonsense is gone and you face the remaining years with more wisdom and, hopefully, resources.

I'm 40 in a few weeks and yes i feel 20,i look young for my age...so people say probably just being kind.Anyhow I'm a heavy metal fan at heart and still like to wear my biker jacket and boots and often people look at me as if to say bloody grow up,but why should I, your as old as you feel.

Don't worry - when you hit 50 you'll fall apart at the seems, even though you still feel younger, your body wont allow you to do the things you want or at the speed you want - I'll look forward to hitting 60 and see what happens then!!!!!!
