Well, there are pro abortion democrats, as well as republicans, and vice versa. Same with gay marriage. Everyone has a religion, even if the are Agnostic or Athiest. Everyone believes in something, or nothing, but they believe in it. The Government is WE the PEOPLE, meaning, through voting, WE have control of ourselves. The majority of voters choose at each election, and if you disagree with the outcome, then better prepare yourself to convince others of your views for the next election, so the outcome goes your way. That is Democracy. Look at each Candidate for what they stand for, check out their party's platform, then decide.

Libertarian, actually. I am about 85% Pro-Choice.
On the abortion matter, Teenage girls who get pregant should have the baby and put it up for adoption. Same with anyone else. But if the girl is in danger, abortion is the besy way (in my opinion)
ok, Marriage is defined as being between a man and a woman. there's no changing that. now Domestic Partnerships, Civil Unions, and other things are a good idea. I am bisexual, but dating a guy- we can get married. but if i were dating a woman and she got injured or somehow ended up in the Hospital, i would want to see her because (obviously) i love her. Anything else is just wrong.
I am a Buddhist- and a happy one at that.
I think the Gov't shoul;d have less control over us. (just e-mail me and ask why- it's a long story.)
Yes i do.

I am a card-carrying unaffiliated voter. I refuse to align myself with a particular party because I think both are full of sh$t.

Even though I don't agree with abortion as a method of convenience/birth control, I don't believe it should be illegal (outlawing it would do more harm than good); I am pro-choice when it comes to rape/incest/life-threatening but only if the abortion occurs early on in the pregnancy.

I believe in and support full gay rights for gay individuals and gay couples, so yes, I believe in and support gay marriage.

I was raised a mormon, and even though I don't practice anymore, I still believe in God and mormonism..

I believe in government control only to a certain extent. Only the people can decide what's best for them, and that's why we can vote/remove from office, etc.

And yes I vote... in every election since I turned 18

I am pro abortion on some conditions.. Both parents agree on it. I think if the man wants the child and agrees to raise it, the women should be allowed to sign away her rights. I do not think it is fair for just the women to choose since it took two for the baby to be concieved. I also believe in abortion if it was out of rape, insest, or could harm the women to have the baby.
I am definitely for gay marriage. I believe if two people are in love, straight or gay, they have rights.
I do believe there could be a higher power, but I do not believe in one paticular religion over another one.
I don't think government should have a lot of control.
Yes, I do vote.

Abortion is not a split on party lines. Conservatives are against it, liberals are for it. The rest, it depends.

Gay marriage-75% of the country is against this. Almost all Republicans are against it, most Democrats are against it. Most liberals are for it.

Being religious is also not related to party. The conservative wing of the Republican party is generally very Christian

Conservatives want the government to be a small fraction of what it is. Liberals want government to provide all needs and wants disguised as needs. It is not the government's job in a free society to tell others what is best for them. There are few exceptions to this premise.

I vote. Every election.

Smaller, less intrusive government. For some reason Liberals seem to think that they know what is best for me better than I do. Do they know me? I didn't think so.
