Where would you rather live: West Palm Beach, Florida or Columbia, South Carolina?
Where and most importantly why?

I went to college in Columbia South Carolina. It's nothing special, but I grew up in this state. It's always hot and humid. Florida is beautiful and the beaches are very different. I wouldn't want to live there though,,,I wouldn't give up SC

South Carolina.... because Florida would be to far away from my family and friends, Florida is hotter than the Carolina's and there are alot of hurricanes in Florida.

SC... I lived in FL for 17 years its TOOO hot at least in SC you get a general idea of the seasons. Hurricanes suck! in FL you get them all even if they are on the other side of the state. FL drivers are terrible. FL people are not that friendly. You may think FL is all about the beaches but inless your retired or just don't work which you really can't afford to do in FL then you don't even see the beaches. FL is a great vacation place but to live there you don't enjoy it.

I want to move to Myrtle Beach South Carolina.....I go there every year. It has some of everything and it is near the ocean. I want to be able to walk to the beach everyday......

west Palm Beach because it is some what like Calif, and that's were I am. The beaches are beautiful over there.

Neither has much going for it. If I were you I'd stay where you are now. If it's a life or death move, go to Columbia. The odds of getting mugged by a Cuban are much less in SC.

I would like to live in South Carolina. I hear that it is such a pretty state and I have never been there.

i have not been to either but Florida is my choice. it might have better beaches, but then again I don't know. My friend just moved to S.C and i plan to visit her early next year.
