Memories of Life at Home

Memories of life at home
Rarely reach the sea.
Beneath the bare swept surface muck
Lie dreams that turn us cold.
The best that we can do is try
To savor what is served,
Love the lust of a sinking sun
And make much of precision.

I Want to Make You Smile as You Make Me

I want to make you smile as you make me.
I wish you saw my thoughts right through my eyes.
You ask me what I'm thinking. I can't tell you.
You are the stars, and I the empty skies.
In me there is a yearning ever flowing
That needs to reach an end that never comes.
I cannot be myself without you with me.
This is a truth no wisdom ever plumbs.

You laugh, and say that I'm your personal angel,
And this is what I want so much to be.
The beauty of my life is like a passion
That blows right through the person that you see.

you can e-mail me if u want more of any kind! :-/

Misunderstood

Maybe I shouldn’t. Maybe I should.
Or maybe I couldn’t... I know that I could.
But I wouldn’t... actually, I would...
I guess it would be good
If I just understood!

Well... I don't know what tone that is, but I laughed when I typed it up.

Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

I love my chocolate chip ice cream,
It’s really, really nice.
Sweet and smooth and cold
These chocolate chips with ice.

I scoop it once, scoop it twice,
Stuff it in my mouth,
But I must be careful,
Doesn’t taste good coming out.

So here’s to all who dare
To approach my frozen treat
“Get away you losers!
You can’t have any to eat!”
