My Sacrifice by Creed.
Only b/c they played it live thanksgiving day for football halftime show in Dallas in 2001, with people in the stands holding up cards from United Way that made a pattern, that read thank you. It was very emotional, and when I hear that song I think about what happened that September.

"Calling All Angels" by K.D. Lang and Julie Cruise (?)
It's been used in a couple of movies: Until the End of the World and Pay It Forward. Sad and moving and somewhat uplifting at the same time.
Does break my heart and definitely not country.

Daniel Beddingfield, I can't for the life of me remember the song title but the line in it, "I hope I love you all my life" always makes me hold my breath.
And I always tear up when I'm listening to "I Loved Her First" by Heartland, but sorry, it's country.
