May is Asian-Pacific American Heritage month. As for the technology provided by Asians, most of it was copied from the Americans after WWII. The major difference being, the Asians were better at miniturization. As for the stuff from China, if we had our prisoners making products here in the states, like they do in China, we would have the cheap prices here as there would be no labor cost involved. Please don't try these lame attempts at comparisons again. Isn't it bad enough you don't have enough pride in your own race without having to have a set holiday for your race. By the way, where is the holiday that is exclusively for white people? Check your calender again, there is none. Most holidays are either for a certain race or for everybody.

Other than wishful information you have no clue what you are talking about. You want songs and holidays, go to China, Japan, Vietnam, Korea, they all have not a thing in common. Why do you think that continents have a thing to do with culture.

Umm well first off, I dont see anything except saint patricks day that is for white people. Anything else and we would be considered racist. And as for American days, anyone can be an american so that doesnt count for us white people alone. Asians are not the only ones who dont have "pride" days. But it shouldnt matter. Be proud of your race and dont expect much from anybody else. Its what you think, nto everyone else.

So maybe you could becoma an activist and get something started.
Just FYI-- I have attended Chinese New Year celebrations in several cities, and as a celebrant, not as a tourist.

I definitely agree. their should definitely be Asian pride days. and cultural celebrations. also for muslims/ pakistani's and indian / hindus too. luv chinese and japanese too, etc, etc.
this would also be a good way for communities to
become more knowledgeable, intercept and take part.
i love asian ceremonies, culture, food yum! yum! yum!, fashion
etc, etc. (fabulous experience!) :-)
i love all cultures + the world. knowledgeable, good valuable experiences.
(OMG! also sick of racism and stereotyping.)

Maybe Asians don't have to flaunt their nationalities. We (they) already know how great they are.
