NY. LA scares the hell out of me.

Went to New York once while in the Navy. Years later changed planes there while coming back from Paris, France. I enjoyed France during that time long ago, even though they hated Americans even after we saved their *** during the war. New York was the "pits". I never actually found a friendly person there. The only reason people on the subways read the morning paper is to keep from having eye contact with the people around them, or more so the gangs. I think not being able to carry a concealed weapon in New York, or anywhere is ludicrust. See only the bad guys have the weapons, and even if a tourist gets caught with a weapon traveling through the state he is subject to a jail term. I like the law in Texas. They have property rights also. I don't know of any Texan that does not carry a weapon. So much for New York..
Take Los Angeles. I lived there for sometime before going to San Diego. This was before the gangs really got organized, and the vietnamise (sp) came to the coast. Where there is water, there you will find them. Latinos, mexicans, blacks, they have no fear of death. I lived in Inglewood when I was there and it was very nice. I wouldn't go through there now with a 20MM cannon.

New York is best to visit, but La. is better to live in.

Well crap, that's like trying to choose between a poke in the eye or a kick in the nuts. Both pretty much suck, bad weather and rude people in new york. Gangs and smog in LA. I guess LA, at least you can drive down to san diego where it's nice.

Disneyland, hollywood, beaches, and better weather
but the smog is a downer
I live in the mid-west so I don't have a locational bias

New York, I was raised there. There are so many things to see and do. I just love it. The plays, the musicals..........

been to both, LA and NY both are terrible places. alot to do but the people are annoying.
