My husband embarrasses me in other ways, he swears loudly when people piss him off and is rude and arrogant, he is only like this in crowds, so i just leave him at home now.

As a man who relates to what you are saying (though not to such extremes of your guy) I would say he does that only because he has a youthful personality and he is a little bored, but in a good mood.
Though he is trying to amuse you, mainly he is trying to amuse himself, and an important part of it is achieved by watching your embarrased reaction (would he do any of that if he were on his own??).
As for me, I remember one time while my ex and I were at some decoration shop, there were these huge marine shells, so remembering a scene from the movie 'Anchorman' I took one and put it in my mouth blowing it and invoking real loud "NEEEEWS TEEAMMM!!! ASSEEEEMBLEEEEEE!!!!!"... and yes! gotta say I got a real knack out of her dissapearing from my side instantly, trying so hard to pretend she wasn't even with me!!
On the other hand, we would also share the fun together. One time we were daring each other, and she dared me to go ask for something using an expression I didn't know... so I went and explained the pharmacist that I was feeling somehow "randy", what would she reccomend?
I think it's best if both can enjoy equally the fun and embarrasment; going to IKEA was an actual plan for us, because we both were like kids (I was worse, though...)
But then, it's all really a matter of personalities, and if that really bothers you, I would suggest you play his game and embarrass him. If not, TALK very clearly to him (not female signals) and set the limit, because he simply thinks that even though you appear all embarrased, down in the bottom you must surely be as amused as he was. You need to make sure he understands that's not the case.

WOW! I am husband and I have NEVER done any of these things! Men hate to go shopping with their wives as a rule. (I usually do not mind though.) Why don't you just leave him home? The Penis thing? He could be arrested and made to register as a sex offender if a child saw him do this! Pretty stupid I would say. And you might just let him know that if he gets caught by surveillance camera it is as good as being caught red handed. (So to speak.) Here in the USA any way. ) Do I detect a British accent?)

Guess he might feel insecure also he knows it winds you up so next time don't give him the satsfaction of seeing how embarrased you are. Give him a "for gods sake grow up look" and walk off. Or just walk out leaving him with the shopping. Go have a coffee, stay away for a few minutes then if you decide to rescue him do so on your terms. Just ignore the whole episode, behave as if nothing happened. If you blasts you with "where the .... have you been" just shrug and carry on to the check out or what ever. Next time maybe stay away longer. Do this a few times and he will stop. Men can be such children.

Wow. I'm glad that my boyfriend doesn't do those things. They do sound funny, but the 4th one is just really inappropriate. What if someone else saw him do it? He could get in big trouble.
My ex was really obnoxious in stores. The first time I took him shopping he knocked over an entire display of mannequins, on purpose! And other times he would make REALLY LOUD rude comments towards other people who were around us, like "Oh yeah, she's a really good mother. Just let your kid run around by himself, hopefully a child molester will grab him" and "Wow, fattie, put down the donuts." He was such a jerk to everyone. I'm glad that's done with.

A little humor is fine, my gf & I pretend to be unfit parents, she wants to buy cheap vodka instead of baby food, I say the county's gonna take the kid away again. Its the "again" that gets people staring. We do it for laughs. But I would draw the line well before pulling out Mr. Happy. Is this a joke? Does he really do all that stuff? Especially w/ Mr. Happy?? In answer to your question, I guess some people just have a more expansive view of humor than others.

Sometimes its fun to have fun out in public and be silly but it sounds like your hubby is way over the top. Why do you go to the store with him? Just go by yourself on an early saturday morning and have some peace.

He keep telling me to finish fast my shopping list. Instead of buying everything i always ended up forgetting things which is most important! It really is embarassing honey! What is the solution??

does he insist on going with you while you shop? if not go without him. If he does insist on going with you then buy and wear a t-shirt that says I'm with stupid or my husband is my other child --at least the other women will sympathize.
Men sometimes deal with being uncomfortable by being humorous.
it can be infuriating but just a part of life, he may EVENTUALLY out grow it.
