Im a little bit older than your daughter. When i was that age.. usually we watched a movie and made some crafts. Or, if you live somewhere where its warm outside, have a scavanger hunt outside. If not, if there is snow where you are.. tell the girls to bring winter gear and possibly go sledding or have a snowman making contest or possibly a snowball fight if you allow it. And... plan C would be to go shopping if you live near a mall or dance in the house and film a movie. Those ideas are always fun.

Try goosebumps or that show with Michelle Trachtenberg that talks about haunted places and ghosts. That is PG. What about the Halloween Town movies on the Disney channel? Hope this helps and have fun.

What about "The Ring?" Is that PG or PG13? Either way, I think you're looking at more of a "suspense" movie as opposed to a "horror" movie is your limited to PG only. Good luck!

Why don't you rent some of the old classics, Wolf man, Frankenstein,Creature from the black lagoon , The day the earth stood still. They really do not show any violence or nudity, Plus you're kids will get a kick out of the old black and white films !

I don't think that there is such a thing as a PG horror film. However, you could rent Hocus Pocus, and Scooby Doo (they have horror elements). Good Luck!

Perfect one: The Watcher in the Woods. It's a disney movie but don't let that fool you. It was creepy and Bette Davis was in it.
