It is totally wrong. I am a Christian and of course, from a religious standpoint it's not supposed to be that way. You do run the highest risk of birth defects with children. Now, if there was no blood line and they are cousins by marriage, of course that risk will go away, which then it would be weird, but not crazy. I really do think that your cousins need some serious help, and I'm not trying to be mean, but it is something they need to have discussed with their parents and definately go to counseling. But, no...it is not right.

for the love of GOD! this is the most awesomest question yet, must have had to think of this very very hard. No there is nothing wrong with keeping it in the family if you are okay with waterheaded (retarded) babies! Of course it is wrong.

Legal under Certain Circumstances: Arizona, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Utah, Wisconsin

Well , wrong is a qualifier that is conditioned by our culture and
social convention. Where the danger might be is in the genetic
aspect where if they sustain intimate relations and a baby is born out of that union the chances are high that recessive traits may be reinforced in that baby and he or she may be born with genetic defects.

This lovely society we live in will frown down at such act a incest. >> and i don't see them nagging at president rossevelt. Think of the future of this relationship. Not caring about what people will say, but can they take it. If they choose to get married and have kids, do they even know how screwed up the genetics will be? How many people will they affect including future generation? But when it comes to me answering about love, all i have to say is its LOVE. love is always confused with lust, you get confused which is which. So if you find love keep it. but ask yourself this. Will you be able to live with it? Will you be able to live with the knowledge of the affect you have on family? Do you know the effects that may/ will appear for future children? Lastly, ask yourself Can you live with the consequences?

First off, its Illegal in most states. Secondly, the kids will turn out retarded because the DNA is too close of a match. And that is also Incest and forsure the parents will absolutely not approve of it. They should go see a Thereapist.

Yes it wrong. The relationship can never grow any bigger than just partners. and Its illegal to marry so closely in the family so sex is as far as it will go. Find someone else it will add some variety.

In the United States it is considered taboo, and also illegal in 24 of the 50 states. It would hurt the children born of that relationship also. They need to consider the consequences of their actions.

yes it is wrong. Most states you have to be at least 3rd cousins to marry legally but besides that it is very wrong morally and still incest.
