With a product available in the paint dept. of Home Depot. Its called Krud Kutter, this stuff can get dog crap off my white berber carpet without bleaching it... I can also use a little in my laundry to get ink stains off my clothing. It costs about $7.00US for the spray bottle and $13.00US for the gallon.
It is also available in the Appliance Deparment of Lowes, at a slightly cheaper price.

If the grout has mold it probably has spread to the sub flooring. If you don't destroy all of it, there is a possibility it could return. Move the dog's bowl somewhere else and put a tray under it like the ones put under dish drainers. Now get a grout saw and remove all the grout from the affected tiles, and a few surrounding the area. Apply bleach to to empty grout lines. wait a few hours, and apply again. After drying, apply the new grout, following the directions on the tub it comes in. Seal it when it has cured. Move the dog bowl back, with the protective tray underneath.

Try the new bleach pens from Tide and that should do the trick on your grout. The mold from your dogs water empty the bowl and put in some bleach and get a scrubby and scrub until it is all gone. Make sure you rinse the dogs bowl and fill it with water. You also could use vinegar too but I prefer Bleach..

i work in a mansion that is 32,000 sq. ft. When I started working there the grout was terrible in the bathrooms and laundry rooms. I used clorox bleach pens and a steamer. The grout is now white. Be sure and protect any wood that you are cleaning around.

If it is just mold javex will kill the mold. You must make sure you rinse the area well for the safety of your pets no matter what you use.

try the new bleach pens - they are great! otherwise - old fashioned bleach and water! i would recomment getting a bowl that sits more upright on a type of stand in the future.
